how's everyone doing? mine's pretty much the same, well a little bit better actually because .............i'm on holiday, woop wooooop!

anyway, today i'm going to post about nosy people. yeah, that's right. nosy. or kepo. or whatever you name it.

so today i went on skype, checked some new messages on bbm, and posted a status. "to die by your side is such a heavenly way to die..". i took it from the smiths' song; there is a light that never goes out. i went outside, eat, eat some more, and blah blah blah morning routine.

and then i log on into tumblr and as per usual, greeted by a bunch of 1d photos. hahaha. ha. (is that even necessary to write on here? no? well i'm the owner of this blog so if you don't think it's necessary, get the- jk bbysz lol let me love you) SORRY there are a lot of things going on my mind tonight, so please excuse my behavior. MOVE ALONG!

and then i watched some videos on youtube. while i was waiting for the video to buffer, i checked my blackberry messenger and saw -not- a friend of mine, (actually i didn't want to give this person my pin and accept him/her, but at the time i thought i was being really really rude so yeah) sent me this message :

"Hey gurl sisssy, who is dat on yer statuss? xxxxxxxxx"

and i was just like,

At first i thought it was nice that he/she was being all caring-and-lovey-dovey but then, who dafu- are you? (i know him/her but ....you get it). I answered 'eh noone' and watched the video bcs the buffer(ing) was already finished. I checked my bbm again and found this message, sent by the same person. that nosy muthaf- dipsh- fffffstick :

"Just tellmeh i wont like tell anyone omg xxx"

what. is. the. problem. with. you. Let me tell you that this is not the first time she/he forcing slash mind-raping (what) me to tell him/her about my love life. The other day i posted 'andrew <3' {hehe} on my status and he/she just went la-di-da-ing and sent me this : 'andrew who?????? :/' i answered him/her with a laugh and he/she forced me to tell him/her. At the end of the day, he/she ended up being all omg-im-so-mad bcs i trolled him/her. Ha. eat that, f-stick. Oh and the other day when me and my friend were in a group crying session on skype and he/she didn't even ask our permission to join and just got there and being all nosy. And etc. (i'm dead-serious, this is not the first time. if today was the first time, i ain't gon make a big deal out of it, bbz.) (what did i just type?) (seriously?)

back to the current time,  i told her the truth that the status was not meant for anyone. and she replied with an angry emoticon, and FULL CAPSLOCK. "UGH YOU'RE SO FISHY!!!!!!!!!!!! >:/ >:/" what. did. i. just. read.

okay anybody, just, hold my poodle. seriously... Jesus, what's the matter with you? You don't even know me that well, you have nothing against me, and you know nothing about my life. Okay, if that's your way of making friends.......you're weird. I'm sorry, but it's true. People... they don't like you if you're being such a creep and just dive into their problems. It's none of your business and it's friggin annoying okay? Being such a nosy person IS NOT A GOOD THING.

Imagine, everytime you're on the glossy-gossip-session with your friends and a random nosy person just pops out of nowhere, asking the latest juicy thing. everyday. Terrible, i know. Irritating? YES! It's like eating ben & jerry's in front of baskin robbins... it's just plain wrong.

And now that nosy person is probably reading this and thinking how mean i am, which is 100% true and guess wut bytcccchz, i admit it. and that's probably why boys aren't into me. and that's a completely different issue. i should probably stick with the nosy-people situation. but meh, haters gon hate, potatoes gon potate.

so yeah now i'm gonna go make some sandwiches, that's right sandwiches boo-hoo and then...........it's time for some movie partay time, YEA MAN!

sorry for the lack of updates here on my blog, i suck, i know. :( loljk i'm the most fantastic. what.

{okay. let's move along}

...So, in case you're wondering about my 2 previous essays, well if you're going to read it thanks and if you're not going to read it, well, you should. Jk haha. So yeah, i'm working on some essays this week, gotta work my ass off for it! *fingers crossed*


Anyway, my midterms are finally over! Well today is the last day actually and that means I'M FREE LIKE THEM AMERICAN KIDS. What? Grades? I can't hear you over my freedom. Come at me bro! And my school's teachers are going on some roadtrip or something like that, so we get a holiday bonus for  3 days. My whole life is complete. Manly tears have shed.

And by the way, i'm thinking of changing this blog's layout. Or maybe not. Because i'm currently addicted to photoshop, so yeah...

I guess that's all and no big news. Meh

Cultural Heritage

"Youth these days don't seem to care about what's happening at the moment with their culture, which is a bit worrying due to the safety of their country's cultural heritage."


"All they care about is their own self. Maybe this is the effect of modern technology, who knows?"

While i was sipping my ice chocolate in Starbucks yesterday, i overheard a conversation between 2 middle-aged women, sitting right next to me.

I remain calm and decided to continue to listen to their conversation which was pretty amusing because i always enjoy listening to others' opinion.

Long story short, the two women blamed us teenagers for the lack of interest and attention about Indonesian cultural heritage.

As a youth, i gladly disagree with the statement above. I am a proud Indonesian, and i don't think me and the other (well, in my school) youngsters don't care about our culture. We definitely appreciate them and cherish them in our lives.

I admit that very few teenagers still care about our culture. Especially with the improvement of modern technology, some may choose to spend their time with their ipods, rather than playing traditional games like "Lompat Tali"or "Galasin". To be honest, I still play "Galasin" with my friends, which is a little bit unmature for my age, but i think that's okay. Because technically we're saving the Indonesian heritage.

Our cultural heritage has ethnic, beautiful, valuable, sacred, and creative written all over it. And of course us youths are very proud about it too. Maybe, society doesn't seem to understand the way that us teenagers, appreciate them and cherish them. Because there are lots of different ways to show that you truly care about it. Lots of teenagers in Jakarta go to traditional dance classes like Tari Pendet and mostly, Tari Saman. And some also take part in a youth organization called 'Indonesian Youth Conference',etc. And at school, we wear batik every friday, which shows our love for Indonesian's cultural heritage.

We also talk about things concerning our country at school, even though not as often as we talk about other stuffs. But we still do, and that shows our interest at this thing.

When the two women above said that modern technology also affects our interest on Indonesian's cultural heritage, they probably don't know what we're doing on the internet. We use the internet to search about our country's cultural heritage, ...even right now i'm posting about it on my web!

2 Years ago, me and my friends, we tweeted about "Visit Indonesia 2010", even though it didn't trend worldwide. Our goal at the time was we want the world to see what a beautiful country Indonesia is.

So those things above prove that us youths, we do care, we do help, we do cherish, and we do appreciate the Indonesian's cultural heritage.

Social Network

"Social Network Sites". Nowadays, those 3 words (or often shortened to 'Social Network' or 'Social Networking') aren't weird or seem strange for us to hear. Of course, social networking is one of the most popular thing that has changed our lives, apart from the internet.

A social network site is a web based service that allows users to create profiles, see the list of available users, as well as to invite or accept a friend to join the site. The definition or meaning from the word itself already shows us a quite large representation about the social network itself.

Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr are just a few examples of a social networking site. Being and staying online on twitter, facebook, and tumblr are very normal or ordinary for us teenagers to do. We socialize, have a little chat, or maybe just to kill time to reduce your boredom. 

Being on a social networking is very addictive. Even when i type all of these words, i still can't control my need to check what's happening on my tumblr. 

That thing above is one of the main reasons i'm writing this essay. "Is Facebook or any other social networks taking away the fun from playing in the real life?"

As an early teenager on my adolescent life, i would gladly disagree. Why? Because yes, maybe we don't have that much time our parents or ancestors used to have years ago but now, things have changed and they're the exact different.-- Well not really--  slightly. 

Well- yes we do spend hours here on facebook or twitter, but without the help of these social networking we won't be able to talk to our friends as easy as we do now. Let's say parents, they could search and add their old high school friends on facebook, right? And twitter, it helps you to know the latest update about "what's happening at the moment". Right?

With the existence of the social network site, we could meet people all over the world without meeting them in person- which means that took us a cheaper cost than calling them via homephones/phones, and or we could get to know different people from anywhere in the world. In a more simpler way, it leads us to a better 'change'. And not to mention how quick the internet is.

A lot of adults here in my country banned their kids to sign up on twitter or facebook. I'm going to be honest here, i'm one of them kids. I used to have accounts on twitter and facebook, but my parents said that it's not that good for me and i should play outside more often, despite the fact that i need a social life too. So therefore, i deactivated my accounts and well things don't really change either.

Although the use of the social network is often misused by villains or bad people, still- i think a social networking site is good for us teenagers but depends on how you react and whether you use them for good or bad.

I may not be the smartest of all about these things, but i can say that i'm pretty sure about what i'm writing. But, again, i think it's really a matter of perspective or depends on how you see them.

How to Get More Money a la thebraincycles

 How are things going? i hope they're okay because mine's SO DARN GREEEEEAAAAAAATTTTT!!!!! .....Not really. But yeah everything's fine, they are "just" fine, not "meh" and not "omgomgomg".

So if you already read my last post about the crate digging stuff, what do you think? friends and my family... nah, they don't really appreciate them the way i praise vinyl records but whatever they don't understand how much i love them. (mom dad wild bro troll friends lolololol sorreh if yoou read this, aww let me love you) I - LOVE - THEM! {vinyls.-- SORRY ,again.}

I tend to get more money to buy another vinyl record, which is a little bit hard for me to do because i'm not fasting this month ..so yeah, suck things suck. And so instead of whining like a spoiled brat on social medias which pisses people off most of the times, i thought, "why don't i do something instead of wait for something?" So here goes my brilliant ideas to buy my new vinyl record or to get more money to buy them :

1) Join a circus
2) Drop out of school and start singing and signed by simon cowell
3) Marry all of one direction members and held a charity together (dang it's a bonus.)
4) Eat food for money
5) Eat meat for money
6) Will roll for money
7) cry until someone gives you money
8) bite other people's hand and say rawr and convince them that you're down syndrome and keep doing the same thing until they give you money
9) go to parties and mob them with your amazing talent on gymnastics and when it's over tell them to give you money.
10) back to number 1.

The thing is, i have to work extra hard slash study 9 hours a day (not only do the midterms are coming up in 3 days but ..ah you get the point) slash work my friggin ass off for one vinyl. ONE VINYL. Why? Because they are really expensive here and rare and stuffs, so yeah. #prayforthisgirls'rippedheart and after a whole lot of words i typed here i just realized that now i'm bragging about stuffs on my own blog.

So yeah. Im done.

i bought my very first vinyl record yesterday. I was a bit confused whether i should buy suck it and see or contra but then i bought suck it and see instead.

I've been dying to buy vinyl records since a year ago but i hesitated and bought slash downloaded mp3s instead. (which was a total nah bcs vinyls' quality is 10 times better than mp3s, & i'm being dead-serious here.)
